Hi,

I realized what the status bar problems were.

If there is a "job" in progress, there is a progress bar in the status 
bar (or several if there is more than one open job) This makes the help 
text for the menu rollovers a bit clunky.

Normally you don't have jobs running in the background, however if the 
display-pre-load job fails (which it did if you have no Bibles 
installed) the job would never end.
I fixed both of these bugs.

The status bar will still look strange if you rollover when a job is 
running however, so I'll get onto that one.
