[bd-users] Fail to install Bible desktop

Hi folks,

Ubuntu 9.10 64bit

I have bibledesktop-latest-bin.tar.gz download and decompressed.

cd jsword-1.6/
$ ls

bibledesktop.jnlp           icon64.gif             lucene-core-2.3.2.jar
BibleDesktop.sh             javatar-2.5.jar        lucene-snowball-2.3.2.jar
commons-codec-1.3.jar       jdom-1.0.jar           PortableBibleDesktop.exe
commons-httpclient-3.1.jar  jlfgr-1_0.jar

$ sudo chmod +x BibleDesktop.sh 
$ sudo ./BibleDesktop.sh 
Error: JAVA_HOME is not defined correctly.
  We cannot execute java

Is this package unable to be installed on 64bit OS?  OR how to fix the problem.  TIA
